Inside: Read the latest support that we extended to the special needs kids for the “Adopt a learner project” plus updates on our project, the indoor play area.
School has started at the Romblon East Central School, Romblon, Philippines on June 8, 2026.
As usual, we at Pangga ta Ikaw has again extended our financial help to the Special needs kids whom we have been helping since 2015.
This school year, we donated P5000.00 ( five thousand pesos ) as part of Brigada Eskwela 2026- Adopt a Learner project, catering to 5 indigent students for their school supplies ( notebooks, crayons, pencils, erasers, writing papers, folders, scissors, etc. ) and a school bag.

Enrollees are 53 this year, spread to 4 Special Education teachers. They go to school three times a week, and one of those days, they are allowed to play at the indoor play area that Pangga ta Ikaw helped to build.

Pangga ta Ikaw, is an endeavor and a group of benevolent people including my own family, that we started in 2015 to commemorate the one year death anniversary of my sister Pangga, who had Down syndrome. Learn more about our group here.
Our biggest project at the Romblon East Central School special needs program is the indoor play area that we started to build in 2017 and finished in 7 years with blessing and inauguration on January 12, 2024.

We promise to continue supporting our special needs students in this program and continue with the maintenance of the play area.
Once a week, our special needs kids are allowed to play in the therapy area, usually as a big group, or even in small groups, with the supervision of our SPED teachers.

We, at Pangga ta Ikaw are so happy to see that our special kids are enjoying the indoor play area that we built in 2017.
Ongoing maintenance is our concern and recently, the ceiling has been having issues and we hope to again help in the repair.
